And then there were two. In all honesty I have always loved this podcast and the way the group of you so thoroughly gets behind their love of all things Genesis while also increasing my appreciation for things I had not heard before or listening for things in different ways compared to how I had heard them previously. I will miss hearing from Simon and Stacy ( and Ellie too-I apologize if I’ve misspelled your name) but I am glad that the two of you still want to continue on. And BTW, yours is the first podcast I ever got addicted to and I do so much love hearing the group of you get together. Whenever you’ve had new episodes yours is always the first I want to hear and will continue to do so. For the record my first Genesis album bought was And Then there Were 3. Although God knows I spent too much time listening to Selling England in the Nassau Community College library in 1979 and 80 instead of studying and I’ve never stopped loving this band in all its incarnations although I’ve only seen them live twice(Madison Square Garden ,Duke Tour in 80 and Shapes Tour at Arizona State Univ. in 84 ,I believe. However I got to see Steve Hackett last year just a little over a year ago here in Tucson and he and his band were amazing. In fact they were my last concert I saw Pre-Covid. Anyway I apologize for my rambling and do so look forward to future episodes. Keep It Dark-Richard

Hi Richard! Tom here. Thanks for the kind words! We’ll miss discussing these with Simon and Stacy, but there will hopefully be opportunities to bring them in for an episode here and there. And good to know you’re a fellow Long Islander – I grew up in Garden City, and my sister went to NCC for a bit. 🙂

Thanks, Richard! Tom here – I grew up in Garden City so I’m very familiar with NCC! I didn’t get into the band until Invisible Touch, but there was no reason why I shouldn’t have seen them as MSG that tour – heck, everyone else in my grade was! 🙁
