Genesis Live was the first Genesis album I ever listened to. My friend Bill had just recently introduced me to Yes when he saw this in the record store (1975?). He had heard of Genesis, but bought this one solely because of the cover. Thus continued our journey in to what became known as Progressive Rock.

I love “The Knife” because they sound so complete as a band at that point, and everyone gets a chance to shine.

Listening to your podcast have inspired me to create my own podcast, thank you very much for that!!
If they could name it in your program it would be of great help for its dissemination. The podcast is called MetalProgPop Cast. I think Eli knows it. We are from Argentina
    Thank you very much!!

The Knife is Genesis most overrated song. It sounds like Nelly the Elephant.

What did you and McCartney talk about? I m assuming he was at least aware of the Genesis stuff, but did you get the sense that he was a fan?

Am I the only person who would have liked to be able to vote for the unaccompanied bass pedal solo from Michael Rutherford ?

Genesis Live was the very first Genesis album I ever listened to. My friend, Bill, had already introduced me to Yes, and we were reveling in their back catalog. One day at the record store he bought this album because of the cover.
