Great chat, guys. Didn’t know much about Dave, even though the name was familiar, but the album sounds great. His enthusiasm is infectious – will be purchasing! Thanks!
Gentlemen,
A splendid and inspiring episode. I had meant to write after the excellent Anthony Phillips one, which was in itself really marvellous; however, this latest one has finally prompted me to email, having now listened on Spotify to the highlights version of ‘IT’ that can be found there. The original, which is obviously sacresanct, and was where I first found Genesis – as a 16 year old Scotsman – is clearly the one I would always veer towards. But Dave Kerzner’s project has encouraged me to listen to the songs as individual songs, if that makes sense; rather than as part of a magnificent behemoth. What a tremendously clever and talented bloke. Thank you for introducing him to me. I’ll subscribe to his Bandcamp presence soon.
Keep up the good work. I used to comment on your twitter feed occasionally until it became X-rated, sadly.
Ha, I assume you meant Twitter became X-rated, and not OUR feed. (Unless Mike was posting those pics again… 😉 I love approaching the Lamb in different ways, either as a whole, or really getting into specific songs.
